Mark Lawton very kindly sent me a scan of a book that he’d recently found. It’s a lovely snapshot from 1974 of the South Teesside Works when it employed 16,000 people.

Great reference, I love all that material. I found, in box at my parents when I cleared the house, a book called Teesside Enterprise from the 1950’s. I have to say that the best bits are the old ads. just wonderful. All the best, John
